Pratham Shiksha is a charitable organization in Jaipur, Rajasthan (India) to promote and support basic education for underprivileged people.
Pratham Shiksha is a Hindi word, meaning first education. We wish to make an effort and contribution towards improving the level and spread of education and information in Indian poor society.
We believe that lack of education is the root of several problems afflicting Indian society. It is a serious impediment to develo pment and improvement in quality of life. Pratham Shiksha aims to make a positive difference in this area.
Pratham Shiksha wants to direct its efforts towards meaningful and sustainable improvements instead of temporary relief. We aim to enable and empower people to improve their lives and conditions. Therefore projects and activities supported by Pratham Shiksha are focused on planned human and social develo pment instead of random charity.
Pratham Shiksha works by collecting funds through personal and corporate contributions, and canalizing them to support efforts in poor society which are in line with its mission. Pratham Shiksha is a charitable trust.
